Patricia Healey has over 30 years experience as an internationally recognized and certified teacher. Patricia began her teacher training under the direct guidance of Swami Vishnudevananda, Sivananda Ashram. Studying all aspects of yoga and various styles, she was then deeply influenced by the precision and intelligence of B.K.S. Iyengar at the Iyengar Institute in India, where she continues yearly training, deepening her own personal practice. .
Patricia's practice stems from a belief that a mindful approach to Yoga is a lifelong journey of deepening one's awareness of the body, the breath, the mind and emotions through the practice of the asanas, with refinement gained through focus and meditation.
Patricia's experience has also been enhanced through initiations and teachings in mediation and mindfulness with H.H. the Dalai Lama, Zasep Tulku Rinpoche and Thich Nhat Hanh . Patricia not only teaches, but embodies the practice in her everyday life.

Finish the class with a guided Savasana, a deep state of relaxation to release stress and tension and lead to a more integrated sense of well being. Intended for those who are new to yoga or want a more gentle practice.

The class is ideal for those who are healing from injuries, or physical limitations, but is appropriate for everyone at any level.
Experience the principles of alignment and awareness in the poses, mixed with dynamic Vinyasa flow. Strong, more advanced asanas where students move more deeply into the postures, while exploring the edges of effort and ease, control and surrender, opening to self-understanding and transformation. Expect to work hard and sweat. Ideal for those with some experience in yoga or who desire a more challenging practice.
Untangle from the busy mind and emotions that lead to anxiety, stress and fatigue. Recover a deep sense of presence and well-being. Straightforward and simple; mindfulness meditation is essentially focusing attention and moment to moment awareness, so one can be more present and fully awake.
Sati is a Pali word for present moment awareness and mindfulness.
Sati Yoga incorporates the principals of mindfulness in the practice of the asanas, so that practitioners can be more deeply present in their bodies and their practice, experiencing not only the physical but the emotional and spiritual benefits of Yoga.
Private lessons can be a great way to start your practice of Yoga. With one on one training, clients learn the correct approach to the poses, or refine and deepen an existing practice . Those with physical limitations, or injuries can benefit from a customized approach that meets their specific needs.
Patricia is not limited to one specific location, but has created a business model that expands borders. She is available to conduct workshops and retreats in Yoga, Meditation and Mindful living.
Her primary places of practice are in Bequia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Canada.
